So on mobile devices there have been issues with video playback.
At first we thought it was an internal issue – something in the coding of the website or a WordPress plugin gone rogue. But trying to optimize everyting on the backend didn’t seem to fix the problem.
After some tinkering it looks like the issue may be with video codecs. Originally video was being encoded using the H.264 codec – that may have caused issues on mobile devices. HEVC encoding seems to have [mostly?] solved the issue?
This post is going to remain up so that we can do further testing.
