Nueva Vista is a funny place.
You probably saw their PR video about new uniforms:
And the idea of a police department doing that probably seems crazy, but there’s a lot of crazy things that happen in this city.
For example, we had the neighborhood streaker who became a bit of a celebrity:
And it was mostly a joke – we didn’t know the woman’s name [the newspaper chose not to print it in that first story]. Most people thought she was a free spirit just having some fun – she wasn’t hurting anybody.
And it probably would have just been one of those weird local news stories that maybe got posted on Reddit. Except then the police decided to arrest her:
We assumed it was probably going to be a cite and release kind of thing – maybe a ticket for a violation of a city ordinance. But then criminal charges got filed.
And that’s when the bodycam video came out:
There was definitely something going on between Officer Miller and the Friendly Neighborhood Nudist [whose real name we found out is Holly Holmes]. These text messages got leaked:

This really did have people in Nueva Vista on the edge of their seats. I mean, this was front page news and that trial last 2 weeks.
Sure, we have a pretty high murder rate and our crime rate shows no signs of slowing down – but that was kind of the point. With all the other awful things that happen every goddamn day in this city, why were the police and the District Attorney going after someone who actually made life a little less miserable by letting us have a glimps of her pretty body now and then?

The prompts were variations on these two:

Qwen 2.0 Edit would generally go along with prompts for slightly more revealing poses and render them in a way that looked realistic. Seedream had more difficulty as the poses got more explicit, which makes sense as that model is not really trained for that.
The park bench video was created using Wan 2.6 Spicy [https://www.atlascloud.ai/models/atlascloud/wan-2.6-spicy/image-to-video].
This was the prompt:
“Fixed shot. She is covering herself between her legs with her hands. She says, \”Gosh you guys, I’m just trying to enjoy a walk in the park.\” Her tone is friendly. The resulting video was then uploaded to Wan 2.5 Video Extend to add an additional 10 seconds with this prompt:

A note about Wan 2.6: while it did eventually produce a usable video, it did not always get the female anatomy to look convincing – so that park bench video probably took about 4 or 5 tries to get right, at $0.70 per video. Plus a few attempts with Wan 2.5 Extend at $1.05 per extension. So that park bench sequence cost somewhere around $7 to make.
As Grok becomes more unstable, this was a video to test a hybrid workflow, which is probably how Digital Dreams will produce content moving forward.
Where content like this typically goes wrong is the focus on power dynamics and humiliation for the sake of it. Generally speaking, abusive conduct isn’t very sexy.
So the idea was to keep it light and funny and to play with the power dynamics in an unusual way, with both Holly and Jerry being teased and denied in different ways, with an underlying romantic pairing developing through that tension. It was also a chance to explore storytelling in a slightly different way than purely video formats, as you need to read the blog post and see the photos to get the whole story of what’s going on.
There’s a lot of naked stories in Nueva Vista, and this is not going to be the last one.
